Hello, my name is Kiera Windsor. I am currently a junior at the University of Nevada, Reno. My major is in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and I also have a minor in Business. I am 18 years old, my favorite color is pink, and I love to travel, cook and bake, go to the lake, hike, spend time with friends, and I would say my greatest passion is animals and nature.
I graduated from Western Nevada College in May of 2025. To this day I would consider completing and earning a degree at the age of 17 one of my greatest accomplishments. I chose an associate of science because I have always known I want to work with animals. Now I am attending UNR with the hope of graduating in the fall of 2027 and getting a job in animal rehabilitation.
One thing about me is that I love to travel. I have visited 20 of the 50 states including Hawaii and Alaska with plans to visit one more in the summer. My favorite thing to do when visiting a new state is to be in nature. The best way to do this is visit National Parks. In the picture on the left, I am at Joshua Tree National Park at the top of a hike, and I have been to 20 National Parks. My top three favorite places I have been Hawaii, Alaska, and New York. These places are so unique in their own ways and have wonderful wildlife. I would have to say my favorite National Park is Denali in Alaska because it is filled with wildlife, we saw bears, moose, elk, and dolly sheep within a few hours of being at the park.
